Stop the Clog: Help keep your sewer pipes clear by properly disposing of fats, oils, and grease after cooking by following these easy steps: Can it and Scrape it!
No Wipes in the Pipes: When disposable wipes are flushed—even wipes labeled as flushable—they bind with roots, grease, and debris inside pipes and create blockages. Only human waste and toilet paper should ever be flushed. Everything else should go in the trash.
Don’t Flush Your Meds!: Flushing unused or expired medications down the sink or toilet can pollute the environment. To prevent misuse and keep medications from entering our waterways, please dispose of unused prescription and over-the-counter medications responsibly.

As a SacSewer customer, you receive 24/7 service in the event of a sewer problem. This is part of the monthly sewer rate you pay. When you call us—day, night, weekend, or holiday—our goal is to be there within two hours to check our portion of the sewer pipe.
Our maintenance crews will inspect the problem, and if it’s in our portion of the pipe, we will repair it at no cost to you. If the problem is in the privately owned portion of the pipe, we’ll help you figure out the next steps.
