Impact Fee Assistance Overview
Our sewer impact fee programs allow qualified customers to finance, waive, or defer their sewer impact fee.

Finance Agreement
Spreads sewer impact fees over 24 months in equal payments at a low interest rate.
Waiver
Supports the construction of residential projects that provide low-income or affordable housing units. The applicant is responsible for the application and recording costs.
Deferral
Postpones some of the impact fees due before issuance of a building permit for up to five years. The applicant is responsible for 10 percent of the total impact fees, the application, and recording costs.
Phased Development Agreement
Defers SacSewer collection impact fees for a portion of a parcel that will not be developed. The undeveloped portion will be subject to the current sewer impact fee at the time it is developed.
