Sewer Lifeline Rate Assistance Program
SacSewer offers eligible low-income customers annual savings on their sewer bill.
American River Parkway Riparian Habitat and River Cleanup
Funds projects that support and clean up the riparian habitat and river along the American River Parkway.
Watershed Management
Funds projects that protect or enhance the water quality of the regional waterways.
Septic Conversion
Funds projects that connect eligible property owners or communities with failing septic systems to SacSewer’s collection system.
Economic Development
Funds projects that support economic vitality and job growth in the region by reducing sewer impact fees for eligible commercial and industrial customers.
Public Education
Funds projects and programs that educate students and the public about the Sacramento region’s water and sewer systems and the Sacramento watershed, promote a deeper understanding of SacSewer’s mission, foster behavior change through environmental stewardship education, and raise awareness about career opportunities in the sewage industry.
Funding Prioritization
Funding requests for the Confluence Grant Program will generally be prioritized using the following criteria:
- Alignment with SacSewer's Mission, Vision, and Valuers
- Potential to deliver regional benefits
- Ability to leverage additional funding sources
