Harvest Water Traffic Alert – September 15, 2025

The following closures are currently in place or planned as part of Harvest Water pipeline construction. Please drive safely through work zones and follow construction signs and posted speed limits.

Thank you for your ongoing patience with Harvest Water construction. 

NEW Road Openings:

  • Point Pleasant Road between Lambert Road to the west side of Franklin Boulevard, including Fogg Road, is now open.
  • Carroll Road between Eschinger Road and Lambert Road will open the week of September 15. Paving is scheduled to take place in early October, so please drive with caution on the temporary road surface. 
  • Twin Cities Road between Bruceville and Franklin Roads will open the week of September 15, which will make Twin Cities accessible all the way from I-5 to Highway 99. 

 NEW Road and Lane Closures:

  • Bruceville Road between Lambert and Point Pleasant Roads is anticipated to close the week of September 15. Prior to this closure, Carroll Road will be re-opened to a limited capacity (see above) allowing for an additional detour.
  • Paving operations are planned for Core Road, Ed Rau Road (north of Eshinger), and Eschinger Road between Carroll and Ed Rau in late September. Lane closures and flaggers will be in place. 

Ongoing Road and Lane Closures: 

  • Point Pleasant Road between Ed Rau Road and Franklin Boulevard is closed until mid-October.
  • Kestrel Lake Road and Korn Road are closed (local traffic only) until early October 2025. 
  • Within the City of Elk Grove:
    • Sims Road is closed until late October 2025.
    • All lanes on the east side of Franklin Boulevard between Laguna Boulevard (south of the intersection) and Elk Grove Boulevard will remain closed through October 2025. Traffic is being diverted to the southbound lanes on the west side of Franklin Boulevard, maintaining two-way traffic. 
    • Work continues within the greenbelt areas, between Ehrhardt Channel and Whitelock Road.

Note: Some roadways are open to local traffic only and are not accessible by through traffic. 

Weather impacts and other factors may impact timing of closures. Local residents and emergency vehicles can access properties within work zones at all times throughout construction. Please visit our Harvest Water webpage for the latest construction updates.
